Hanmer  Horses  offers  you  the  chance  to explore the spectacular surrounding countryside and Hanmer Forest Park on horseback. Situated in beautiful setting at the edge of the forest in the Rogerson Valley.

Hanmer Horses is open daily, all year round, guaranteeing you a quality experience you will never forget. And of course after a long day in the saddle you can go and ease away the aches and pains in the thermal baths

One Hour Trek:
Leisurely trek taking you through the clear mountain streams, forestry tracks and open hil farmland.
Spectacular views so bring your camera! Mostly walking with trotting where posible - tuition given on the ride.
Suitable for first time riders and those who have not ridden for some time.

2.5 Hour ride:
More challenging with plenty of trotting with scope for cantering, depending on rider capability. Just great for experienced riders - our horses are responsive.
Mixed ability groups and novices can be catered for, just ask and we will try and accommodate you.

Pony rides:
Lead pony hire for children which you lead. This is a nice introduction to riding. Bring an apple for the pony.
